Camp
Victory, located in central Pennsylvania, has over 120 acres of
easy terrain, both open field and wooded areas. There are 12 cabins,
most with heat. All have 10 bunks each and are able to sleep 20. |
|

Welcome Center
|
Upon
your arrival at Camp Victory, you will find their new welcome
center. This building, erected in 2005 is the new location for
CV administration. It is strategically located at the camp entrance
in order to assist campers at their arrival to camp.

Camp
Victory central grounds include a large field perfect for any outdoor
activities. Along the field and throughout the camp are paved walkways,
perfect for scooters and bicycles. |
Also
on camp grounds are 2 other outdoor pavilions. One is a screened
in activities pavilion. Games such as ping pong, air hockey and
table soccer can be found here.
|
|
|
The
other pavilion is the open air crafts pavilion. Here children can
find all kinds of arts and crafts to keep themselves busy between
other activities. |
| And
camp wouldn't be complete without swimming. But don't fear, you
won't be "swimming with the fishes" at Camp Victory, anything
but! Instead, you will find a world class pool, complete with wheelchair
ramp access, diving board, and CPR Certified life guard supervision. |
|
|
Along
their tree lined paved walkways, you can go for a leisurely stroll,
or make your way to the archery range to test your skills. Or take
a hike to their obstacle course and try your luck at climbing the
rock wall, maneuvering the ropes course, and balance table. |

One
of the latest editions is a wonderful Amphitheater located in
the lower field area. This building has the tree lined creek as
a backdrop, and is perfect for entertainment of most any kind.
So if it's
KJ on her guitar, a full band, or just karaoke, Victory now has
a perfect acoustical location for the show! |
|
|
Ok,
now you're thinking with all the activities camp has to offer,
you must work up quite an appetite. Correct! Now we've all heard
what "camp food" is like. Well, all I can say is that
these folks must never have been to Camp Victory for a meal!
While at
Camp Victory, we promise that you'll not go hungry! |
| And
we all know "accidents happen". Camp Victory has that
covered. Their "Med Shed" is anything but a shed. In
effect it's a mini-hospital, a spacious, appropriately equipped
center designed to handle, under professional supervision, the
children's daily medical needs, as well as most any medical emergency. |
|
As
you can see, Camp Victory is one special place. We are so very
fortunate to be a part of Victory, if only for just one weekend.
